Braid the Ladder

 We are a not-for-profit charity drive supporting the needs of women and their children in domestic violence shelters. 

This Braid the Ladder project is dedicated to all who are like...."Vanessa"- strong, beautiful, and powerful. 

Yet, even "strong women" need help from others. Especially when trying to escape a violent relationship partner. 

Sometimes women fleeing homes where there is violence and abuse need donations from the community. Within that giving we can remember women and children with beautifully textured, ethnic, or coarse hair who require grooming products that are often more costly. 

This project was also inspired by the children of every "Vanessa."  Children shocked by the violence and abuse in their homes everyday. But, even more shocked to find themselves in a shelter. Children who still need specialized grooming products to care for their hair.
